Lesley-Ann Hix is just about to graduate from McAfee with an MDiv in Global Christianity. She spent her undergraduate time at UNC-Chapel Hill. With a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, she writes and photographs as a way to transcend boundaries and connect stories.
Sharing story space with people is sacred, and being behind the camera while journeying through seminary has helped Lesley-Ann uncover a persistent calling to missions. With a Spanish background, she's hoping to follow God far south soon. She loves being behind the camera, but she's learning that being in the pulpit is just as much fun.
Lesley-Ann joined Barrett in dreaming up Tableaux soon after she started at McAfee. She has worked as the designer and photographer since 2011, building the magazine through inspired spurts in the creative closet in the Admissions Office. She's grateful to McAfee, for immersing her in this wonderful communal story.
